The National Quality Institute's Canada Awards for Excellence Summit takes place at
the Toronto Metro Convention Centre October 24th and has been certified as a Carbon

Please Help Save the Planet by Planting Trees!
NQI is now challenging all Canadian organizations to work in an
environmentally-friendly way and Help Save the Planet by planting trees. lots of
trees!

NQI has chosen to partner with The Tree Canada Foundation, as planting trees has
been proven to be one of the most effective ways of scrubbing the air and absorbing
carbon dioxide [greenhouse gases]. Just one tree will absorb one ton of carbon
dioxide over it's lifetime, so just think of what an entire forest can do!

The CAE Awards Summit is a Carbon Neutral Event !
NQI will be providing conference attendees with 500 live White Spruce saplings
[Canada's official Millenium Tree], plus they will be distributing over 5000 Let's
Go Green Canada pocket-sized booklets that will provide ideas on how to Go Green and
tips on tree planting.

Since 1992, the National Quality Institute [NQI], a not-for-profit organization, has
helped thousands of Canadian organizations to produce outstanding results by sharing
their Progressive Excellence Program [PEP], which is a step-by-step systematic
approach to achieving organizational excellence.

The National Quality Institute is also encouraging all Canadian organizations to
submit their stories saying what their organization is doing to Go Green!

These stories and ideas will be posted on NQI's new Go Green website:
www.letsgogreencanada.ca

So come on corporate Canada. let's GO Green by planting trees!
